The annual celebration always includes Main Street festivities, live music, good food, and a slew of fun-filled festivities. Breckenridge 4th of July Schedule of Events for 2023

Not all the mountain-planted communities in Colorado host an Independence Day celebration. However, the 4th of July in Breckenridge CO has always been a bit of a big deal. Locals, surrounding neighbors, and tourists alike make their way downtown to take part in a fun-filled day that kicks off early in the morning and lasts well into the evening.

As usual, this year’s Breckenridge Fourth of July Celebration is jam-packed with festivities. Check out the 2023 schedule:

• 7 – 11 am – Independence Day 10k
• 8:30 am – Breck’s 10th Annual Fourth of July Strider Bike Race for children
• 9:30 – 11:30 am – Independence Day Parade on Main Street and the Firecracker 50 mountain bike race
• 10 – 3 pm – Cirque De USA festivities at the Arts District Campus, including food, chalk art competition, talent shows, and more
• 12 pm – Public reading of the Declaration of Independence
• And more!

Music in Breckenridge Fourth of July

You can definitely count on good music being a part of the Breckenridge 4th of July celebration. The Alumni Quartet will start playing patriotic music at Blue River Plaza at lunchtime on July 4th. And, the National Repertory Orchestra is scheduled to be at Riverwalk Center at 6 pm to present the Fourth of July Spectacular.

What to Do in Breckenridge CO on the Fourth of July After Dark

While the daytime festivities are immense, you can still find plenty to do once Breck’s celebratory events come to a close. Many local establishments also do something special for Breckenridge 4th of July. For example, Breckenridge Brewery is sponsoring outdoor music and fireworks shows (city regulations permitting) at the Farmhouse Beer Garden in neighboring Littleton.
