What is Breckenridge Oktoberfest?

Breckenridge Oktoberfest is an iconic, three-day event that takes place annually in September in downtown Breck. Oktoberfest is not just well known in Colorado; it happens to be one of the largest festivals to take place in the entire state. Oktoberfest is a celebration of good beer, good times, and German culture.

In Germany, Oktoberfest is actually a month-long event that involves a number of festivities in different places across the country. Breckenridge Oktoberfest is an effort to bring just a piece of that celebration to The Rocky Mountains. Live music filters through the streets, good food is found cooking at every turn, and, of course, there is never a shortage of amazing beer from the local breweries. There are stations set up to keep kids entertained as well, such as face-painting booths and spots to learn to Polka dance.
